First Appointment

During your first visit, a full medical history will be taken prior to commencing any treatment. If you are taking any medication, be sure to have the names and the dosages of the medicine that have been prescribed to you. Also if you have any reports or radiographs from your previous dentist, please bring them along to your appointment so we can have a better idea of any treatment you many have undergone previously. Please also take the opportunity to inform us if there are any dental concerns or issues that may be troubling you or that you specifically would like to have addressed.

A thorough dental cleaning will be done followed by a comprehensive dental examination. Radiographs may be taken to facilitate the diagnostic process. Following the dental examination, any conditions, such as dental decay, that require attention will be highlighted to you, and the appropriate dental treatment explained in detail.

Clinic Policies

Informed Consent

We only perform treatment after we have received informed consent from our patients. This entails providing a thorough and clear explanation of the recommended treatment and our reasons for recommending it. We will also let you know how long the treatment will take, how much it will cost, and what side effects you might experience. Once we have answered any questions you may have, you have the option to decline or consent to proceed with the recommended treatment.

Canceling and Rescheduling Appointments

We value our patients’ time, so we try to budget sufficient time for each procedure and do our best to stay on schedule. In turn, we ask that our patients arrive on time for their appointments.

Reminders are usually sent out the day before via phone, email or SMS. Kindly let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid having a no-show fee being levied.
